Turning Compasion into Action
Our mission is to bring people, resources, and organizations together to identify unmet human needs, mobilize practical support, and deliver compassionate assistance through humanitarian campaigns, community partnerships, volunteering, and collective giving. We strive to ensure that vulnerable individuals and families can access essential support, overcome hardship, and regain hope and dignity.

The Global Samaritans was founded by Richard Tusabe and is being developed from California, United States, with a mission that reaches beyond geographical borders.
Inspired by the power of community compassion in the Ssese Islands of Uganda and strengthened by experiences of care, solidarity, and collective support in California, our movement brings people together around one shared belief: no one should have to face life’s hardest moments alone.
We welcome individuals, volunteers, community organizations, and partners from different countries and backgrounds who share our commitment to turning compassion into action.
Our Base
We have our base in California, United States, which is also the home to our administrative support organization- The Youth Startup Fund, which is identified as the legal recipient or administrator for our donations and campaigns.
Our Global Outlook
Our mission is not confined to one country or one region or one race. We aim to connect people and resources across communities and borders wherever genuine needs can be addressed.
Our Organizational Support
Youth Startup Fund (YSF) provides administrative and organizational support to The Global Samaritans. YSF may be identified as the legal recipient or administrator for donations and campaigns, as applicable.
