The Global Samaritans is a humanitarian movement that brings people together to turn compassion into action. Rooted in a story of kindness that began in Uganda, our mission is to inspire people everywhere to stand beside individuals and communities facing hardship, regardless of their background or location. Guided by our motto, A Friend in Need, we believe no one should have to face life's hardest moments alone.
We seek to support vulnerable children, families, and communities facing hardship, emergencies, or other challenges. Our areas of compassion include education, crisis support, health and essential care, basic needs, and dignity and inclusion. Through initiatives such as Bridge2School in Uganda, we help address specific needs with practical assistance. The support available depends on each initiative, its resources, and the needs identified.
You can contribute through the donation options on our website, support a featured campaign, sponsor educational assistance through Bridge2School where available, or help connect us with potential supporters and partners. Contributions are administered according to the terms of the relevant campaign and are intended to support its stated purpose. Anyone can become a Global Samaritan by choosing to make compassion practical. You can volunteer your time, share professional skills, mobilize your community, introduce potential partners, support a campaign, or contribute financially. We also welcome conversations with businesses, community groups, and organizations interested in working together.
